''Meant to Be Mint'' is the debut studio album by Mint Condition. The album was released on June 11, 1991 on Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis' imprint Perspective Records. It was the second album released on the label, following the Sounds of Blackness' album ''The Evolution of Gospel'' one month earlier. Released during the height of the new jack swing era, Mint Condition's debut was more in tune with the sounds of the time. They produced the album with The Time drummer Jellybean Johnson. To date, it is the only recording they have shared a co-production credit- as they would assume full production duties on their later albums. The album peaked at number 63 on the Billboard 200 and number 13 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop chart. Three singles were released from ''Meant to Be Mint''. The first single, "Are You Free", reached number 55 on the Hot R&B Singles chart. They achieved greater distinction with their second single, "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)". It charted at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 3 on the Hot R&B Singles chart. The third single, "Forever In Your Eyes", peaked at number 81 on the Hot 100 and number 7 on the R&B chart. ==Track listing== # "True to Thee" (Stokley Williams) (5:57) # "Do U Wanna" (Homer O'Dell, Stokley Williams) (4:20) # "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)" (Lawrence Waddell, Stokley Williams, Jeffrey Allen) (5:56) # "Are You Free" (Stokley Williams) (4:32) # "Here We Go Again" (Keri Lewis) (4:22) # "Try My Love" (Jeffrey Allen, Stokley Williams) (5:47) # "Forever In Your Eyes" (Lawrence Waddell, Stokley Williams) (5:12) # "She's a Honey" (Keri Lewis, Stokley Williams) (5:21) # "Single to Mingle" (Homer O'Dell, Stokley Williams, James "Popeye" Greer) (4:21) # "Sensuous Appeal" (Stokley Williams) (5:04) # "Outta Time, Outta Mind" (Keri Lewis, Stokley Williams, Jeffrey Allen) (4:58) # "I Wonder If She Likes Me" (Ricky Kinchen, Stokley Williams, James "Popeye" Greer) (4:55) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Meant to Be Mint」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
